HDPE (High density polyethylene) is the most chemically resistant member of the polyethylene family due to its dense configuration (> 0.94 g / cm3). Today, it is the most common membrane for containment structures for a variety of applications. It has excellent UV protection and aging resistance due to strong weather pressure. Although not as flexible as LLDPE, it still has excellent elongation properties, allowing yield point deformation up to 12%. The 400 SERIES uses a rigorous QA / QC program and is manufactured by qualified technicians using high quality resins with low permeability.
